You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

The SCIS Performing Arts Department is pleased to present the heartwarming classic, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.

The musical production follows an average day in the life of the beloved Peanuts character, Charlie Brown and his dog Snoopy. Throughout the show we see little moments from Charlie Brown’s life, from Valentine's Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair. Mixed in are the lives of his friends (both human and non-human), highlighted by delightful song and dance numbers, and progressing from bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlit evening.

This show is a delight for all ages!

Performances will be Friday, November 14th at 7:00 pm, and Saturday, November 15th at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Tickets are 50 RMB per person, and children ages five and under are free!

Tickets will be available for purchase at Market Days and before the performances at the door. All seating is general admission.

Head of School Address

Dear Parents and Community,

Head of School Address:  Monday, October 27, 2014

Every year I will give an annual address concerning the state of our school and where we are heading as an organization.  I believe it is extremely important to keep the community informed as to what we have accomplished and what the next steps are for our organization in terms of living out our mission.  Typically, I will give this address in the first month of school; however, as this is a year of transition, I have taken the last few months to assess where we are.  I invite parents to join me on Monday, October 27 at 6:00pm for refreshments in the theatre lobby, followed by my address at 6:30 in the theater.  Please RSVP to Renee Zhao at rzhao@scischina.org.  Space is extremely limited, so this invitation is limited to parents only.  For those who cannot join us, I will publish my address to the SCIS HQ website.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Katherine Brewer
